Food
What is an adventure without food?
Sunshine Tree Terrace is home to the citrus swirl and the DOLE whip. Located just inside the Adventureland entrance from the HUB, just down from the Swiss Family Tree.
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen is the table service restaurant here in Adventureland. If you enjoyed the jokes on the Jungle Cruise, this restaurant is for you. Bold flavours from south American, Africa and Asia the food, without the theming, is delicious.
At Aloha Isle you’ll find sweet treats like pineapple DOLE whip soft serve and pineapple upside down cake just to your left as you leave the Tiki Room.
Tortuga Tavern is located straight across from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Here you can have a taste of Caribbean-inspired food as well as turkey legs, hot dogs, and slushies.

Shops
While not commonly shown on the map, there are 2 stores in Adventureland.
The first is the one as you exit the Pirates of the Caribbean. there you can find all your pirate needs and the Pirate boutique (available for bookings only).
The second store is a small market style off from he Magic Carpet ride. Here you can find normally brand sunglasses and other items.

Rides
Join the pirate life and take a journey on Pirates of the Caribbean. A dark, boat ride, this tale will show you original story that inspired the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
In the middle of Adventureland take a ride on a Magic Carpet. The Magic Carpet Ride ride, similar to Dumbo, will allow you a sky view of Adventureland as you soar, with a little help from Genie.
Take a cruise away from all the hustle and bustle on the best one around, The Jungle Cruise. They’ll take you on a ride through jungles and temples, and if you don’t find a gift shop, the jokes are something you’ll take home with you.

Attractions
Here at the entrance you will find a tall, towering tree. This tree will walk you through the tale of Swiss Family Robinsons, based on the Disney film. This is a great place to explore up and down a tree house to dream for.
Among the fun and fancy of Adventureland, take a cool break in the Enchanted Tiki Room. The sweet tweets of these birds are better for the ears than twitter.
If you’re ready for an adventure and want to learn about all he hidden parts of Adventureland, check out the Pirates Adventure. This is a game similar to Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom based only within the walls of Adventureland. Take up the pirate life and follow a map to earn a reward. This is a great adventure when you’re waiting out a fast pass or the lines are too long for you to wait for. This interactive tour of Adventureland is worth the time.

Characters
Here you can find a mix of characters, when they are available, such as Captain Jack Sparrow around the Ride entrance to Pirates of the Caribbean.
Hidden near a Jungle entrance you may find Moana when she isn’t off sailing the seas.
And tucked into the markets near the Flying Carpets you can find Aladdin hanging out, sometimes joined by Jasmine, Genie or Abu.
These characters are dotted around Adventureland and it does vary on the days and times. Check out the My Disney Experience app to see what characters you may find.

Adventureland is one of my favourite and a great place to explore and get lost in. Normally people venture to Adventureland or Tomorrowland as their visit lands to visit.

For me any land is worth a visit and there is always something to do. Keep an eye out for my ride and shows break downs next in the series.
