Frontierland in Magic Kingdom

Journey into the Wild West through Frontierland. A favourite to many, Frontierland is in the back left of the park and the only land that is not accessible directly from the hub, you’ll need to go through Liberty Square or Adventureland to reach it.

Here in Frontierland, you will find:
– Food: Golden Oak, Pecos Bill, and Westward Ho
– Rides: Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain
– Shops: Frontier Trading Post and Splash Mountain Gift Shop
– Attractions: Country Bear Jamboree and Tom Sawyer Island

Food
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn is a great quick service to stop and enjoy some food. From tacos, nachos, fajitas and burgers; the range of food here is worth having a look.
Golden Oak Outpost is a food stall on your way between Frontierland and Adventureland. Here you can grab chicken nuggets, waffle fries and onion rings as you take a walk around the land.
Westward Ho is another food stall across from the Country Bears. This is were you’ll find corn dogs, grilled chicken and bacon skewers. You can also catch a breakfast treat of bacon, egg and cheese croissants and assorted muffins; just in case you skipped breakfast to get to the parks early for extra magic hours.

Rides
Want to cool over? Well, on Splash Mountain you’re guaranteed to get wet. There are some who can come out of the ride dry, but for the most of us, we’ll get wet. A great ride that with a song that will stay in your head all day.
Want to dry off? After Splash Mountain why not jump onto Thunder Mountain for the wildest ride in the wilderness! A bigger coaster than Mine Train, it’s a great thrill ride and one not to be missed.

Shops
Frontier Trading Post is found along the the walk from Liberty Square and is a great spot for pins and accessories. Here you can also find Park Funko Pops.
Back by Splash Mountain there is also two stores, one specifically for Splash Mountain souvenirs by the ride exit, and another just as you cross the bridge over to Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain. Here you’ll find general souvenirs and plush.

Attractions
Take a break from the heat and sun, come indoors and watch the Country Bears Jamboree. A great show to pass the time and get off your feet while still enjoying a show.
Feeling adventurous? Take a log raft over to Tom Sawyer Island and explorer the fort, hills, and caves inspired by the story of Tom Sawyer.

Frontierland is loved by many. If you want to catch the parade early, stand up around splash mountain and Pecos Bill as the parade starts from here.

What’s your favourite part of Frontierland? I personally love having a stroll around Tom Sawyer Island or just simple riding Thunder Mountain as many times as I can (when the queue allows it).
