Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom

Tomorrowland is the land of the great big beautiful tomorrow. Themed for the future with space ships and galactic accents, this area is great for anyone looking to space out.

A favorite to many, this land has:
– Rides: Space Mountain, Speed Way, Astro Orbitor, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, and upcoming, Tron
– Food: Cosmic Ray, Cool Ship, Auntie Gravity Goodies, Tomorrowland Terrace, and The Launch Pad
– Characters: Stitch and Buzz Lightyear
– Attractions: Monster Inc Laugh Floor, People Mover, and Carousel of Progress

Rides
Tomorrowland is great for the rides in my opinion. There’s so many options to choose from.
– Space Mountain: indoor, dark coaster
– Speed way: outdoor, car driving ride
– Astro Orbiter: a high flying space ship carousel
– Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin: dark ride, shooting simulator
– Tron: upcoming, indoor and outdoor coaster

Food
Depending on what you’re in the mood for, Tomorrowland has you covered.
– Cosmic Rays: quick-service with burgers, chicken, and pulled pork
– Cool Ship: quick snacks and beverages
– Auntie Gravity Goodies: ice cream, smoothies, milkshakes and sundaes
– Tomorrowland Terrace: quick-service burgers and salads
– Launch Pad: quick service, outdoor seating; hot dogs pretzels and slushies

Characters
Just round the corner from Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin, you can meet the toy himself. When he’s not indoors setting you up on the ride he’s outside meeting his many fans.
If you want a little mischief though, drop in on Stitch. The mischievous fuzz ball can be found from time to time across from Monster Inc Laugh Floor, and he is so cute and fluffy!

Attractions
Monster Inc Laugh floor is a great sit down, interactive show for the Monsters on Montropolis to gather your laughter during their comedy show.
If you’re looking to sit down and let the attraction do the moving, check out the Carousel of Progress. Travel through the 20th century to see how technology has improved our life. An attraction with a theme song that will stay in your head longer than “It’s a Small World”, it’s an attraction I always go to.
Take in all the sights on the People Mover, an attraction that will take you around Tomorrowland and allow you to see the inside of some of the rides. If timed right, you can see the fireworks at the castle.

Which part of Tomorrowland is your favourite?
Do you have a favourite memory of Tomorrowland?

I will always take a spin on the People Mover, it’s a great way to get a cool breeze and rest the feet after a long day in the park.
